The mission of the overall Fehmarn Belt Learning Network: “Dannelsesregionen |
Bildungsregion” is to drive innovation in education by improving the capacity of pupils, students, teachers, lecturers and to upskill the future workforce with the necessary technical knowledge, creative abilities, language, intercultural and project management skills, so they can build a more sustainable and coherent cross-border region.
I am responsible for the project's Subgoal 5, which aims to improve the quality of leadership and collaboration across all project subgoals through the development of better facilitation and collaboration methods. The expected outcome of Subgoal 5 is the development of improved facilitation and collaboration methods based on design iterations refined throughout the project period.
Together with Lars Clausen (consultant, N?stved Municipality), I am developing a "Fehmarn Belt Compass" based on Niklas Luhmann's 10 functional systems, as well as a facilitation method to promote multifunctional collaboration across organizations in a border region.
Wiebke Sandermann contributes by conducting interviews and is also working on her own Ph.D. project.
