Danish Test for courses in Danish
If you want to apply for courses taught in Danish, certain Danish Language requirements apply. In this case you need to have passed the Danish test for international students (Studiepr?ven i dansk som andetsprog) or the equivalent. Courses for this test are offered at Studieskolen: www.studieskolen.dk and Clavis.
Courses
You can choose a semester package from a single subject if you wish to study a full semester (30 ECTS). You will benefit from no overlap in lectures and exams and project and courses within each package work together in order to give you more than each activity gives on its own.
You can see all courses at study.ruc.dk, which is especially relevant, if you wish to study less than a full semester or choose courses from different subjects.
Tuition Fees
All international guest students studying outside of Denmark have to pay tuition fee. If your home university is another Danish university, please go to the page G?stestuderende p? Roskilde Universitet (only in Danish).
Terms of Payment
The tuition fee must be paid in EURO unless paid from an account in a Danish bank. If paid in DKK please use the current exchange rate. Please mark the payment with the invoice number and your complete name. If somebody else pays in your name remember to mark the payment with the invoice number and your own name, otherwise we cannot identify the payment.
A student cannot be enrolled until the tuition fee is paid. The tuition fee must be paid according to the deadline indicated in the offer of admission/request of payment. However, if a student is part of an activation programme for the unemployed, a written undertaking from a Danish public authority confirming that they will cover the payment or a similar commitment will be accepted instead of the payment.
The tutition fee cannot be paid in instalments.
If a student cancels his/her studies no later than three working days after the start of the semester/study period (as stated in the admission letter), the tuition fee can be refunded. The University may grant an exemption from the above-mentioned deadline, if special circumstances have prevented participation in the study activity, e.g. serious long-term illness.
The tutition fee covers lectures, academic supervision, exams/tests and other types of assessment during the semester/study period stated in the admission letter. The payment covers two examination attempts during the relevant study period - except for summer courses where the payment only covers one examination attempt.
A student who paid for an exam, but who did not attend the exam/re-exam during the semester/study period or passed the exam/re-exam, are not allowed to take the exam in a later semester.
In this case, the student must submit a new application within the given deadline and pay the tuition fee again.
The offer of admission and payment only covers the study period stated in the admission letter. The University may grant an exemption from the before-mentioned, if special circumstances have prevented participation in the exam during the semester/study period, e.g. serious long-term illness.
