Internet access for guests at Roskilde University
As a guest at RUC you can access the internet in the following ways:
1) RUC's free WiFi for guests
When you arrive at RUC as a guest, you can use the free WiFi called RUC-Hotspot, which is open for everyone.
To gain access, begin by selecting the network RUC-Hotspot under accessible networks on your computer. Then open your browser to get to the login page.
The first time you want to connect to RUC-Hotspot you will have to log in. You can use your login from a social media such as Facebook, Google+ and LinkedIn to connect to RUC-Hotspot. You also have the option to create a login via your mobile number.
Your SMS-login is valid for 12 hours and can be used on more devices at a time, if you for instance want to be connected on your phone and computer.

2) Eduroam
If you are a guest from another university, which is a part of the Eduroam-project, you can use your login from your home institution to access RUC's wireless network.
3) External collaborators
For people who are not employed by or students at RUC but who may have the need for prolonged logins or more access rights than just internet access, temporary logins can be create. This requires that a collaboration agreement is filled out, which we will then save in our ESDH-system. People in need of a temporary login will be typically be suppliers or research collaborators.
